Work your legs, arms, chest, core and much more with this effective and quick session.
You may think you need two hours in a state-of-the-art gym to get a full-body workout. In reality, all you need is 20 minutes and just one kettlebell.
Kettlebells are our top choice for this type of workout, thanks to their easy-grip handles and ergonomic shape, perfect for compound exercises like the squat clean. However, any weight will do in most cases, whether it's an adjustable dumbbell or even a full water bottle.
Now that you have your equipment, it's time to discover the training offered by sports coach Rhiannon Bailey. As mentioned above, this session only uses one kettlebell and only takese 20 minutes, but it will work your entire body, increase your heart rate and boost your metabolism.
Remaining simple and effective, this workout consists of only four movements: the clean squat, kettlebell swings, push-ups with transfer, and extensions with Russian rotation. If any of these exercises are new to you, watch Bailey's video below to see how each move should be performed. Once you've mastered the technique, go for it!
Bailey challenges participants to perform these four exercises in a circuit format, performing each move for 40 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest. Repeat this circuit five times to reach 20 minutes, and consider your workout complete.
Come on, let's go, no excuses, and treat yourself with this short but intense program!
